Question New set top box NOT inc a Kodi box

Hi all

my in laws left sky many years ago and dont want to go back into a monthly payment scheme for the extra channels they might want. so i have mentioned Now tv as an inbetween as i think you can chop and change each month but are there any other suggestions?

freesat any good for example?

Freesat is excellent, but you don't get any extra channels. Only the free to air ones that elect to be on the Freesat epg. Basically the ones you can watch (but not record) if you pull out the viewing card on a Sky-HD box. NOW TV best picture quality is a bit lower at 720p than the 1080i you get from broadcast TV.
