    Hello all
i have just seen a magazine that was announcing a new screen technology which gives better PQ than Plasma and is half the cost. The mag was wrapped and didnt give any details on the cover. Does anyone know what this technology is and where i can get more info?

Its DLP rear projection on the front of Whathifi, and if read carefully, smacks of hype. They needed a headline to sell some copies.

there are loads of new flat screen technologies coming out - but plasma still rules the roost for us mere mortals on normal salaries and not living in the far east.

'What Video & Widescreen TV' did a round-up in the Jan/Feb issue if you want to know more

SED Technology & OLED are apparently going to be the next best thing since sliced bread in terms of display technology.
