HI,

Read today on Teletext that the BBC has paid about £2 million to have the first-run UK TV rights to Steven Spielbergs new science-fiction mini-series.

Entitled "TAKEN", it's 10 episodes, with each episode lasting a full 90 minutes each!

I have no details of what it's all about or who is in it, but it's suppossed to be up there with "Band Of Brothers".

BBC2 and BBC Choice (or BBC3 as it should become) will air the show early in 2003.

Could be very interesting!

It is about people that have been abducted by aliens.

A sci-fi series called 'Taken'... kinda just what it says on the tin, ain't it?

Especially when you’ve taken the top off.

90 minute episiodes catches my eye...... I find that much more appealing than 45 minutes like the normal drawl.

Can you imagine that in the States (or $ky) though.
