New Samsung TV... and no Freeview channels. Please help!

Hi all,

Grateful for any assistance here. I have a new Samsung (Samsung UE43TU7100 (2020) HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 43 inch with TVPlus).

However, after tuning, there are no channels at all other than Samsung TV Plus channels.

I'm anticipating any questions you may have, and can confirm as follows:
  • I'm using a proper, undamaged Ariel cable.
  • There's another TV in the house with built-in Freeview that does have all the Freeview channels.
  • I've tried tuning using both options (Ariel/satellite and Digital). Neither works, just the same 70-odd Samsung TV channels can be found.
This suggests to me that the TV, bizarrely, for some reason does NOT have built-in Freeview (highly unlikely) and I need to buy a separate Freeview box.

Can anyone help? Very grateful for any replies :)

Take the TV to the other TV point and go through the tuning setup again.
There's no point in selecting satellite unless you have a dish connected, select Digital only (not Analogue & Digital).
