No, the docking station doesn't come as standard. No idea if Richer Sounds sell it, but you could ask them.

As for which one to get - that's easy! The Pronto.
Best remote you'll ever own. Does everything. My brother has the Cambridge and it is okay if on a budget, but if you have the money to push to the Pronto then do it.

I consider myself as the voice of alternatives.

Many people advocate and love the Pronto. Yes it is a very good remote. But as an alternative also look at the IRIQ from Madrigal.

Go here http://www.signals.demon.co.uk/IRQprel.htm and see for yourself. I have one after not getting on with the Pronto. That's just me. All I'm saying is keep your options open.

Also look at www.madrigal.com for more info.

I only say as it's a good remote along the lines of the The Cambridge Audio, just a whole lot better. And IMHO being biased as hell :)grin: ), I prefer it to the Pronto.

    Happy shopping.

Interesting GS. Looks like a typical MS product similar to their Sidewinde Joy Pads in construction.

    Looks a little ugly IMO

I bought a Madrigal remote of a fellow forum member. It is a fantastically simple device. The set up is so simple that my computer non literate mother could do it! It learns al except my realy troublesome marantz dv3100 (well everything i have tried). The backlighting and other problems suggested in reviews and on other forums dont seem any hassle to me.

Unfortunately, since it wont do my dvd player, mine is going less than a week after buying in place hopefully of a pronto!
