I've been reading the various threads on this forum for a while and when my wife asked (as she usually does around this time of year!) what I wanted for Christmas, an all in one remote control sprang to mind!

It needs to be new and not cost more than £60.

It will control TV, Sky+, DVD recorder and Aiwa 5.1 Amp (and possibly others in the future so probably a 6 in 1 should do it)

Ideally I would like it back lit and fairly simple to use (for the sake of the wife!)

I notice that the Harmony's seem to have good feedback but i'm not to sure whether i'll get something at £60.

    Any one got any thoughts?

    cheers

Have a look here for some cheaper Harmony remotes

    http://www.cclonline.com/product-categories.asp?category_id=299

and take the 'test drive' here

    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/features/harmony/GB/EN,CRID=2078

to establish compatibility with your equipment (make sure you know your equipment model numbers before taking the 'test drive' as you will be asked for them.

    Good luck... ;)

I love my 655, highly recommended.

Only two annonyaces, you have to be online to program it (whole harmony range), and you need a very flexible thumb to reach the video/dvd buttons (655 specific)
