    Have B&W 603s and a CC6 at front

Rears I am using a pair of wharfdale bipole speakers - I am not convinced they are the best solution

I am after small (face the size of a DVD case) speakers that will give me a good rear sound stage - not looking at spending a great deal

    Any help ?

I'm not sure how you hope to get a better soundfield than your bipoles from very small budget speakers?

At a budget price for a pair of small speakers that give a wide dispersion of 'quality' sound, you'll probably find zero contenders. Perhaps the closest would be something like the omnipolar omnisat from Mirage (6.5" H x 5.1" W x 6.5" D.) These are good little beasts but you'll need to get them from across the pond so expect £200 or so in capex. Don't know if this place ships to the UK but http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/category/type/267 is an option, possibly...
