    Hi!

I am looking for a new projector for my living room (not 100% darkened and projecting on a white wall, not on a screen). Main use will be watching movies/series en gaming (PS4). Not a big 3D user.

The question now is, is it worth to go for the Optoma HD50 or should I get the lower priced HD36 (or HD37 when in USA i think) considering my room set-up ?

Or go leave Optoma and go for a BenQ instead? Love to hear your guys' ideas/recommendations

    Hi,

Both projectors will do what you are asking with the HD50 delivering a better cinematic experience. I seem to remember one of our customers commenting on the lag time and mentioning that the HD50 was better for this however I'm only going on memory.

    Regards, Shane.

tx! I went for the BenQ W1300 in the end, as it has similar qualities as the HD37, but has better colors, as per the review on this site :)
