Hi all, just installed my new LMP PJ ceiling mount for my AE100.
It is a made from brushed stainless steel but is only 2.5 Kg in weight. No problems fitting it, simple to install, superb workmanship and all for just £69 + delivery outstanding value for money. I recomend this mount to anyone so take a look for your self here: http://www.lmp-pc.co.uk/mount.shtml :D
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

    Mine arrived today.
Fantastic bit of kit backed up by very friendly sales (Andy Paton)

Can't work out how to get my floorboards up yet but I'm sure it's going to look fantastic when I do.

Just one thing, do either of you have the plastic ceiling plate cover ? Don't suppose you could post a pic of it if you have could you ? :smashin:

    Cheers

Is it just me, or do these hooks and wall/ceiling mounts seem like a right royal rip off to me?

Im sure I saw a mount for a plasma in Richersounds for £150.

£150 for a bit of metal?

They are indeed expensive, but I suppose it depends what you're comparing it to. I'm afraid we're all into the wrong hobby if we don't like being ripped off, but then people are willing to go out and spend £80 - £100 on designer jeans which will last say 6 months.
Whenever I buy equipment I always try and think long term, and in this case I can see that the projector plate seems to be removable, which means there's a possibility of making a new plate which will accept any projector. hence the life has just been extended to maybe 5 or 10 years. Not bad for £69. just my 2p of course ;)

I second that Insp.Gadget. I couldn't have put it better myself, And yes the mounting plate is changeable. I do think that this is worth every penny. If you think that this is expensive then I'm affraid that you are in the wrong hobby.

Yes it will be possible to change just the projector plate if you change your projector, also people who enquire will find that the price I quote is in fact a little less than you think.

    This from Insp.Gadget :D

How fitting. Any McGiver member here I wonder?

£69 IS a very reasonable price IMHO. OK, lots have fabricated their own mounts, but £69 ain't too bad for the less "DIY" inclined member.

    Hi All,

Put my LMP mount up last weekend. Very good build quality.
I doubt the manufacturers ones look any better at 4 times the cost.

Well worth £69. Recommended, without a doubt.

    Mike
