    Hi all.

Just bought a Panasonic TH-37PV500B HD display. Its my first plasma, and need some advice on running it in, so to prevent stuff like screen burn.

I have set all channels i.e. DVB, AV1,2,3,4 HDMI and so on, to cinema mode. All the settings are half way.

Would this be ok, and how long would i need to keep it like that?

Also, i have the screen set on Auto, so no 4:3 image will be displayed. Again, how do i have to keep this on for?

Some advice would be very welcome.

    Many thanks.
    John

Just like to say, running 1080i through my Denon 2910 in HDMI is unreal. Have to watch all my DVD's again, now! :smashin:

What i would suggest is read the following FAQ from this forum here

    Taken from mal600908's PV500 FAQ - RUNNING IN/CALIBRATION section

    Cheers m8!

Didnt know it was gonna be so much hassle lol.

So after the 200 hours, it should all be ok to use as normal? Or do the logo rules apply through the sets life time?

    Cheers again.

Don't leave logos on overnight, but otherwise they're mostly OK. Just be sensible. And, for heaven's sake, don't use Dynamic Mode!
