I have seen the especifications of this new new model, that seems to be very similar to the 747, but with DVD-A digital output IEEE 1394 format called "i-link".

I would appreciate any opinion about it, if anybody has yet heard.
    The other question is:
Is there any Amp/Av that has an input "i-link" so you can uses it?

Isidro, I heard a dem of this unit connected via I-link to a Pioneer
VSA-AX10 at the London Hi-Fi show in September. It sounded very good indeed, but of course one needs to assess the sound quality in a more 'real world' situation. I believe the I-link inputs will feature on the VSA-AX10 from the spring and will gradually appear on models lower in the Pioneer range.

As Yummy Fur says the FireWire (IEEE 1394) connection will be introduced first on the MkII version of Pioneer's own VS-AX10.
It will only carry audio (incl. DVD-A) but not video.
