New Pioneer Dv-575A firmware 2.10 out.

    New features:

    fully configurable subtitles in menu
    - 4 fonts
    - 8 background/outline/text colors
    - 7 subtitle positions (after setting CD reload needed - eject CD and load
    it again)
    (shows 40-55 chars in 3 lines max)
    Menu->Initial Settings->Subtitles

    2. 8 regions selectable (0-7, without 8 region - menu restrictions)
    Menu->Initial Settings->Options->Country Region
    * if you want to player stay region free after upgrade/dongrade hold down
    'enter' (this one near the numpad)
    key couple of seconds until player turn off
    * to back to normal mode hold down 'clear' key

    3. plays all subtitles in current directory regardless of name

    4. CP1250 used for filenames (only in firmwares which are in folders with
    'CP1250' in name)

    5. shows 42 chars of filenames in filebrowser with extensions

    6. new functions under keys: arrow up, arrow down, arrow left, arrow right
    after holding them down longer
    KEY +xx and KEY -xx are for speedeing up and slowing down movies and mp3's.
    After pressing left/right arrows movie will play with 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2
    of original speed backward/forward.

    7. new items in Audio Settings menu: Equalizer, Bass Boost, Super Bass,
    Treble Boost
    8. Shuffle function under V.Surround button

    9. Changed background graphic and icons

    So this makes the player region free basically? I hope all those companies who tack on 25 quid to their multiregion prices buck their ideas up!

    it doesn't add playback of packed bitstream unfortunetly.

    Have you tried it?
    Coz after a research I ve down
    people are saying that this is fake. It s not a new version coz it has some old bugs in it.
    And i haven t find any clue that says it has Equalizer bass and treble booster.
    That equalizer part sounds very interesting.
    I hope it s true.

    I've read on a few forums it might be fake and it has some strange bugs.... I'm not touching it personally.
