    Hi

Can anyone help me with this new photo gallery software with the 2.60 update.
I got jpegs on my flash memory stick and when I goto copy it ask to insert media , it then sees my flash memory stick , I select it but it says no images to display
Strange as if I just goto photo on the xmb and then select my flash drive it displays the photos without a problem.
How do I get this photo gallery to see my pictures ?

    Thanks
    Karl:confused:

Try pressing the triangle button, and selecting "show all". From memory, I think thats what I have to do on mine, but I'm not near my PS3 to double check...

    Hope this helps.

edit:sorry I think I may have misread your question - are you trying to do it in the gallery program itself? I just copied them to the HDD from the XMB, and they showed up fine in the actual gallery app.

Don't you need to put them on the XMB under Pictures first?

Maybe , its confusing really.............. the photo gallery software as got the copy function built in , when you select copy it asks you to insert media i.e memory stick and then it surely should see the jpegs on the stick but keeps saying no images to display

Glad you got it sorted! I never looked at using the gallery to import pictures, never even thought about it. :D

You probably don't have a folder structure the ps3 likes - hence the need to do the "display all" thing.

If the folders are named and structured in a particular way the ps3 shows the pics without needing to do triangle / display all.

It sounds like the photo gallery likes the same folder structure too.

Can't remember what it is, PS3/PICTURES or PS3/PHOTOS or something, i don't view pics from external memory, i just copy mine all over to the xmb when my camera fills up!

I plugged my camera in (a Sony so it will have the correct structure) and I could copy from within the App and didn't need to copy them in first.
