New Philips IDTVs

    The Philips website has some new IDTVs,
    28PW6720D
    28PW6726D

    and 32-inch versions.

    No details, and a Google comes up with nothing, so they must be very recently released. Looks quite smart.

    I may be looking for an IDTV with Virtual Dolby and an integral subwoofer but these seem to be very hard to find!

    Strangely the Philips DW6559 range have removed the subwoofers which were included in the DW6557s.

    I take it that the 6720D's are replacements for the 6559's that seem to be getting difficult to find? I was getting enthused with this version when I discovered that the Tilt control seems to have been removed. I hope that this is not the case, given the disappointments we have with screen geometry these days. It could make the 6720 a "no-no" for me.

    Does anyone have better information?
