Just saw Peter Gabriel on Jools Holland, did " Growing Up " , " In Your Eyes " and " More Than This " .
A clip from early Genesis too.
His first album is my favourite but " Up " is really fine.

Thought the Jools Holland show was a bit 'flat'.however 'Up' is a great album that just grows and grows on you.
My personal favorite album by PG is his fourth

I'll have to get this album then. I also think his first album was best but my favourite track has to be Biko. I saw him live in concert at Taunton years ago, when the song was first released. He and his other musicians came in from the back of the hall and down through the aisles scanning over the audience with powerful spotlights as the drum beats from the first part of the track played. This has always stuck with me as the best person I have ever seen in concert, very memorable.:)
