Do you have a current computer that you could salvage parts from such as case, psu, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive & optical drive?

otherwise it will be extremely difficult to build a new system for that budget

I use the following sites to get my computer related stuff:

scan.co.uk
novatech.co.uk
overclockers.co.uk

there are loads of others though. but i tend to trawl scans deal of the day section, overclockers this week only section and novatech gives you cashback if you go through quidco

If you want everything (including case, hard drives, psu and monitor) for that budget, sorry not a chance. You need a higher budget.

Didn't say what size screen you want, or resolution. Fear needs a pretty hefty PC.

Go for larger HD (cost per GB) 500GB are value for money. Samsung drives are quiet, although vibrate a bit so mount with silicon pads or hang them with elastic.
Get 2GB, if using Vista you'll need it.
That videocard is rubbish for games.

You have option- passive, low power consumption videocard (HTPC) or air cooled, high power consmumption for games. I have a ATI X1900XT which is great for gaming but even at idle it's too loud for a HTPC.

Comes to around £400, add them to your basket on ebuyer

A keyboard and mouse/speakers from here for a tenner or so

http://www.ebuyer.com/summersale

£375 is pretty hard, you can get a ebuyer/other brand 19inch ws for £98- but out of stock, that is another £12 saved, and a biege dvd-rw for £14 another few quid saved, shop around on the memory another tenner to be saved there, you could bring it in on budget if you really wanted too
