Hi guys, my first post, just got my new 500, set up perfectly, worked fine for first hour, then began to drop pic occasionally, sound ok, then no picture at all.

Have re-connected scart leads in various set ups but no effect.

When I change input mode nothing happens either.

When you turn it on again, initially there is a pic then it disappears within 30 secs, suggestions?

If it's happening on all inputs then it sounds like time to call the shop that supplied the TV &/or Panasonic and make use of the warranty.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

very odd ? is this on Freeview only or all inputs ? best thing is to swap it out and nip the problem in the bud.

You mean get back to seller and ask for replacement or swop scarts, etc around?

It was on all inputs, might be down to my odd set up though....don't ask!

If you've got an odd set up then it might be worth spending time to make sure you haven't missed something. Though droping frames or intermittent blank screen isn't a symptom of that kind of problem *usuallly*

Get back to seller ASAP and swap it for new replacement otherwise.

Just ask then to give you another new telly. don't settle for anything less!
Its so frustrating when you spend 2k plus on a dream tv, then it decides it want to get moody!
I am getting mine tommorow. touch wood.
