    Definitely the BBC. They have by far the best FTA channels and have an apparent commitment to widescreen.

    There are two pairs of bids- eg BBC and Crown Castle are linked, as are DTA and Freeview+

    DTA = ITV & C4

    Anyway why not BBC?

    News that each broadcaster will be limited to 4 channels sounds very promising. This will enable an increase in signal strengh which may well provide us with a stable quality picture (something we were promised in the begining!)

    I'm just wondering why so many votes for the BBC, are they offering a better service technically(picture quality/sound etc)?
    Having looked at all the bids on the itc site (www.itc.org.uk) I can see nothing worth buying a digi box for in the BBC's/Crown Castles bid.
    No doubt if they do win they'll also be asking to increase the licence fee, again!
    DTA's bid on the other hand has much better choice of channels and the option for pay tv for a small charge.

    Martin you say the BBC are favourites is that just from this poll, or official favourites from the ITC ?

    Partly from the poll, partly from newspaper reports

    APAX are very unlikely, SDN is too much like Ondigital, DTA are tainted with Granada and Carlton (I used to own a Carlton - got an Omega now)

    So BBC is favourite!

    Now to contact EMAP - Music channel - anamorphic and no logos please!

    This poll was sent to the ITC and they only had a couple of hundred emails

    So this poll did help to get us BBC!
