    Hi,

It's with a heavy heart that I'm selling this beautiful watch, recently purchased from Wiggum81, the reason for sale I have just purchased a Breitling Chronomat 44 at a price I couldn't pass up and the plan was to keep both but the wife is going nuts.

Not looking to make a profit but would like to get the £2500.00 I originally paid only 2 weeks ago, see all details and picture outlined in the thread below.

The last post in the linked thread states the original seller returned it to the retailer for a credit?

You will need to add new photos from today with your username and today’s date before this thread progresses

    Thanks

Lovely watch and a great price you are offering it at. If it doesn't sell here just wait for an ebay £1 or £3 final fee deal and it will sell easily for that price.

Anyone could buy this and wear it every day for 2 years and sell it and only loose a few quid.
    GLWS.

    Morning Dave

Is collection the only option or would you consider shipping fully insured to a UK address?

    Rouse,

Shipping fully insured UK is definitely an option, it was just spending that kind of money I personally would like to see in person, when I picked it up initially I have a 8 hour return trip to Wig in Manchester.

    Thanks

    Dave

Oh! forgot to mention that took the watch to Omega in central London (w1) to have the links put back on the bracelet at the weekend.

Lovely watch and appreciate that the original purchaser paid full RRP for it.

However these can be had new, grey market, for about 2800-2900 with full warranty, so maybe partly why you are having trouble shifting it?

Hi U02ai, not sure why it hasn't gone guess £2500.00 is a big spend yet I couldn't pass it up at £2500.00 hence the 8hr return trip to go and pick it up. I had no plans to sell but a Breitling Chronomat 44 came up and always wanted one, in no real rush to sell and if I can get the £2500.00 back I will probably keep it.

    regards

I’m a novice here - is this an automatic or manual wind watch?. Which straps are included?.

Lovely timepiece, one of my favorites. If I were in your position I'd take some much better pictures (with the right orientation), more of them, some close ups and include all the accessories contained within the case. IMHO those pictures don't do the watch justice at all, or entice me to travel 8 hours and spend £2500.

You might also consider some watch forums as well, there's quite a few out there.

Just offering some friendly advice and a free bump. Very best of luck with the sale.

Blues66, the watch has Omega's calibre 1861 self winding movement with a power reserve of 48hrs, the watch is on the stainless bracelet but in the Omega presentation box there is also a Nato strap included also with paperweight, eyeglass and removal tool.

    regards

mrben2475, noted I will try and take some better pictures of the watch this weekend and upload them, thanks for the advise.

Does it not also have the velco "NASA" strap? Should have come with 3 straps in total from new.

    Sandman,

You are correct there are 2 straps in the display box and obviously the steel bracelet from Omega when purchased.

    Thanks

Blues66, thanks for the offer but if I can get the asking pricing at £2500.00 I will probably keep the watch, being they are £3520.00 new and even grey import will be £2950.00 for a watch that is basically brand new its a steal.

    regards

Ok. I’m having a think and doing some reading. Self winding movement = manual wind?

It means it winds as you wear it with the movement of your wrist.

Surely that's an automatic, which this watch isn't, it's a manual wind.

Hi Guys, it’s a manual wind with 48hrs power reserve, most owners refer to it being part of the charm in owning the watch, maybe someone can pitch-in to how that works in the real world, not many watches that share this kind of heritage.
