New Monitor Audio Mass 2nd gen

Sods law the day after I purchase the old system I see that they have launched a 2nd gen system!!!

Question is do I return the existing setup which has not been opened and wait for the new system which is due out in March!!!

Presently the new model will be mainly sold at full price whereas the older system may have had a discount. I guess the question is what difference would it make price wise.

Obviously price shouldn't be your main factor other than setting a budget but it would help answer the question.

The main point Is the sound quality and just wonder if the new system will be better or worth the extra cost!!

I thought about this too as was about to purchase monitor audio mass system with denon 2500 amp. I ve went ahead as like the look of the older mass compared to the new speakers. The monitor audio mass got great reviews and was for sale for a long time surely this means it was a consistently good seller? It’s for sale now for a great price due to the new system coming out so it a good buy. I haven’t set everything up yet but know that, from previous monitor audio purchases, I won’t be disappointed. I may change the sub in the future as some have suggested but will see how it goes, was more cost effective to buy as 5.1 rather than 5.0
What did you do in the end?
