    Just saw the powered MPS 1611p's over at the MK pro website, look quite interesting.

    Has anyone seen or heard these? No doubt they'll be overpriced like everything is with M&K :rolleyes:

    They are these new plug and play type monitors with tuneing ports & plugs.
    Very nice though
    Bet they cost a bomb :(

    Ok, just spoke to the UK distributor, who's saying they're expecting the first shipments in early December; the retail price isn't confirmed but apparently the target range is £1200-£1300 per pair. Which is certainly more expensive than the likes of the Mackie 624s and Bluesky 6.5s, and Genelec 8040a's. Shame, wonder what they sound like....

    Thats not bad actually seeing that you have Bi-amplification on each speaker :)

    Same as the other - cheaper - actives:) I like the idea of an active speaker with a grille option, but the cost differential is simply too great to consider it!
