    Hi

I read something about new Philips LCDs and I want to ask for if someone Knows models and dates.

The question is, to wait or to buy a Philips 9986?

Hopefully they will not hit the shops then get immediately recalled for 3 months like the 9986 did - they were a fire hazard. They lost quite a few sales due to that, mine included, but in the end, the recall did me a favor by giving me more choice and allowed Philips time to sort out the early glitches and add some startling omissions like component. Buying a brand new model can have its drawbacks especially if a model is undergoing constant improvements.
