    Hi guys/gals,
Im looking to upgrade from my netbook mostly due to multitasking and screen size so looking around for a decent spec within budget.

    What is your budget?
    £400-450

What size laptop do you want?
    (In terms of screen size)
    13-16"

    Do you have resolution requirements?
    720p

Do you want a matte or glossy (reflective) screen?
    Matte preferably

What will you be using the laptop for?
Web browsing,MS Office, Movies and Gaming

If you will be gaming, what games do you need to play?
FM12 and Simcity 4, My netbook can handle them so should not be a problem

How long does the battery need to last?
Would like it in the 5+ if possible

Does it need to be portable?
Yes, travelling on trains (longjourneys) and around the house.

    Do you require Blu-Ray?
    No

    Do you require HDMI output?
    Yes

Do you have a preferred brand?
    Samsung, Lenovo, Asus

Are there brands you would prefer to avoid?
    Acer, HP

Would you be happy with a refurbished laptop?
    Not too bothered

Ideally I would like it to have 320GB+, An i3 or i5 processor with 3GB+ RAM.

I would be greatful if I could get your opinions on any of these or better suggestions would be very helpful
    Lenovo Z570 i3, £400
    Asus X53E i5, £400
    Samsung NP S3520 i3, £450

    Thanks

Thanks for reply.. Ive had a read through the thread for that laptop and seems promising.. Always gone to asus for reliability as I've never had problems with components on my desktop pc.

Is the 3.5 hour battery life on intensive use or general web browsing?
Thats the only gripe I have with that laptop at the moment
