Hello and thank you for reading this.

I will in the near future require to replace the bulb in my sharp XV-C20e projector. Willowvale want £338.00 to just supply the bulb.

There is no mention of how to reset the bulb timer with this item.

Have you experience of sharp bulb change and may be address of resonable cost supplier.

Perhaps I should go directly to the top and get one from japan / hong kong.

    All input is welcome.

    thanks again.

This might be of interest to you. I found a french website where they show pictures of how they change the LCD-panel or something on the XV-C20E. Maybe they have an article on changing the bulb too. I don't know, french is greek to me. :)

A friend of mine worked at a Sharp-retailer as a tech. I'll ask him about the hour-reset. I remember seeing him work on a XV-C20E with a burnt out bulb.

Hello and thank you I shall look at the site.

With regard to the lamp the manual states:

155W Metal Halide, there are no part numbers.

    thanks to all involved.

I asked my friend about resetting the timer. He said that when you lift ou the old bulb a little button pops up from underneath it. When you press the button you reset the timer.
