Cool special from Edge on the making of some of the all time classics such as Elite, Chuckie Egg, JetSet Willy etc.

so it wasn't a one-off? How often are they planning it to come out - I'm not sure I want to fork out another £5 a month for it. Quarterly would be good.

Yea. I think it was just all the retro articles they've done in the last year of so.

So what game did you read up on first?

For me it was Way of the Exploding Fist then Elite.

It's worth pointing out that the new magazine, Games (issue 2 out now...) has a pretty decent retro section....

little disapointed with this issue. Just all the "Making off's" they've done in their main mag.

First issue was great, hopefully this'll be quarterly mag.

    First article ?
Elite of course, followed by JSW. I've just read the Bandersnatch article over lunch. All those adverts make me chuckle now, but when I was a 14yr old I couldn't wait for these Mega-games.

    hehehe....

Read this new issue on Friday night. I thought it was great, it makes me want to buy my mates BBC Micro off him to play Chuckie Egg again! Oh the fun we had!
