Picked an 8gig one up from Singapore earlier this week to replace my broken 4g 20gig. I'm loving it. User interface and Video quality is also brilliant.

Do ipod nanos come with a charger or do you have to plug it into the computer everytime it wants charging?

Have you been able to try out video on it yet ? Is it usable ?

Also hows the gui performance.. do you get any lag when using the cover flow feature for example ?

it comes without a charger just the usb lead and some headphones.
I put some videos on it and the image is very crisp and easy to do, i put my holiday video on what i shot with a camcorder and some music videos and they look great.
I had a old nano and this one is 10x better, its interface is better, the 3 games on it look great, the music quiz is also a lot better and it has a movie and tv quiz built in.the music quiz you can bet on the answer and its set as if its a quiz show . i thought for the money its stunning !

Converted a few movies and TV eps and put them on it. Video playback is smooth. I originally compared the playback between the nano and the classic in the store prior to purchasing it and couldn't see any difference between the two. There is no lag on the coverflow.

Can I just confirm something with all you Ipod users, just bought a 3rd gen 8gb Nano, but Comet stated on the description slip, that this 3rd Gen Nano was drop and Drag technology, would I be right to assume that It's not the case, and you still have to use Itunes.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure none of the iPods have ever officially used drag and drop. Always had to use iTunes as far as I know.

I've just got my first iPod which is the 3rd generation nano. I'm pretty happy with it so far, but one niggle is the sensitivity of the touch wheel. Maybe I have to get used to it, but is there any way I can change this? There doesn't seem to be anything within the nano menu system to do this.

hey I have a new nano aswel, its fab!

not sure wat comet ment by drag and drop, but I know that itunes allows you to drag and drop music straight to your ipod. you can drag and drop from your itunes library, AND you can drag and drop folders or files from my computer straight to ur ipod via itunes. you have to drag the files/folders to your ipod under the devices in itunes, the music you draged and droped will go straight to ur ipod and not on ur itunes library. either way you have to use itunes.
