    Hi all,

Was just reading (on teletext of all places) about a new development in IMAX technology which will allow 35mm film to be converted into IMAX (Previously IMAX films had to be shot on IMAX cameras).

This obviously will allow the viewing of any existing film in an IMAX cinema. 'Apollo 13' will be shown soon, followed by several more films later this year.

Sounds good to me! (Except the fact there is no IMAX cinema in Cornwall - we just about have sound and colour  )

    Lex.

At least it's always quiet in Cornish cinemas; all you need to insure this is for a stranger - read tourist - to dare enter. Much like the pubs, "You're not LOCAL are you so we'll all go quiet and stare you out till you go", mentality.[IMG] Gotta love that county, fond holiday memories.
Clotted cream pasties are my fave, very poular in their cinemas.[IMG]

Luxury, sheer luxury, we still have to peer into a box and crank an handle. :)
Once got an albatross on a stick in a cinema in Cornwall during the intermission.

Your nearest IMAX is either Bristol or Bournemouth
