Hi everybody! It is good to have such forums sharing experiences and knowledge with each other.
I am in the process of buying my first flat TV for my living room and I am between Hitachi 42PD7200 plasma and Philips 37PF9986 LCD. I was going for the Panny PV500 but it is not available in Greece yet. It is going to be connected to a PC as well, for Divx movies and surfing mostly. A friend of mine has the Philips 32PF9986 which is the smaller model to the 37 and is really great with PC games (no blurring) but the image is a bit rough when it comes to TV viewing. Other models available to choose from are:

    Pioneer 435HDE
    Philips 42PF9966
    Samsung 42P4A
    LG 42PY10X

    All help appreciated...

Though I will have to wash my hands after typing this, only the LG will handle the PC signal well. The others all have PC restrictions that could potentially be a nightmare. I hate LG as a brand with a passion that knows no bounds, they are the worst, no exceptions, for after sales (OK maybe Tiny then!!) but they are compatible with a huge range of signals.
