Im looking for a head unit with and front aux input for below £150. Also has to have pre outs for amplifier. Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

    Cheers.

Why frontinput? Rearinput/USBinput running to the glovecompartment may be even better (but I don't know your specific situation of course...)

There's a ton of units that would fit your needs, try to narrow your search, like do you need one, two, three or four* sets of ourputs? CD or DVD? Pricerange? USB needed?

    Good luck,

*: some have dual-zone, therefor up to 4 sets...

Well the only reason i thought about a front input is that it's cheaper to use a 3.5mm male to male jack cable than buying a head unit with ipod interface, because they do the same job.

Only need cd player, 1 or 2 pre-outs and don't need a usb connection.

Cheaper would be better cos im pretty skint but i know money is quality so i would spend anything up to £150.

Tried to be a bit more specific!

Not necessarily - some head units can control track selection but you will have to use the iPod controls if you use 3.5mm input. You may prefer this anyway of course.

Yep i don't really need to use the headunit controls. I don't mind using the ipod controls and so effectively they do the same job but for less money.
