Do a Comic Relief type thing, put it on Youtube and you might get even more :p
Just be thankful it's not the ice-bucket challenge..

Thanks again Steve. I did read all your kind comments about wanting to help on previous pages and to be honest I didn't know what to say at the time, I did feel a little embarrassed.

This gesture is very kind of you, it really means a lot to us that you are thinking of our little boy. Finance wise this has knocked us for 6 and I have been looking at things over the last few days and thought this would have to wait for a few months.

    Thanks again, really appreciated :)

Hi all after speaking with richer sounds who are very happy to help. John is even willing to put some towards it so thank you for that. What I am going to suggest as there has been a little confusion, is that people carry on donating to the just giving page until the £200 target is met but as they charge a small admin fee of 5% for administering it. (Apparently we need to hit the target for them to then forward it on)
We then stop and it has been arranged with richersounds customer service that for those that wish to can ring and purchase vouchers direct quoting they are for Harry and they will add to an account especially for him until we reach the target to purchase a TV. I am hoping this can be done ASAP so start donating guys however small.
The number to call for richer sounds is 0333 900 0095.

Thanks again for John Clayton and richer sounds for their assistance in this. And thanks Paul for setting up the justgiving page I hadn't thought of doing that.

Let's hope Harry has some happy viewing on us.

Contacted just giving and asked for it to be closed , slight hiccup in the fact that I won't get the money until 1st July by bank transfer , not sure what target or end date we are going for though ? ....

If people who ring up about vouchers can just PM me so we have a rough idea how close we are to the target please. Looking at £399 for the LG.

I've posted on their forum to ask if pledges can be cancelled so we can go straight to RS instead. I'll update when/if I get a response.

It might be quicker to ring them on 03450782063 , not sure what the implications are for the rest of the money that has been pledged though ....

Certainly don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I suspect the attraction of websites such as JustGiving and Virgin's commission free version is that they are very accessible. Compare that to phoning up a company to give your credit card details to pay for something. I'm just a bit concerned that moving away from the web-based model will affect contributions. Hopefully not.

By all means if people feel safer or it's easier to pay on the justgiving then by all means.

As I understand it, the Just Giving page will automatically close on Sunday as the original target has been met. So anyone planning on making a donation that way should do so before then.

I asked for it to be closed this Sunday or it would have ran for 30 days :)
