I've got my nephew in NZ a PSP for his 7th birthday.
Could anyone suggest a good game? His current likes are super hero stuff, need for speed type games.

I was gonna say, 'Quick! Swap it for a DS!' but now I think about it, all the best games for that are much more grown up now. :)

Spiderman 2 is supposed to be decent. Megaman maybe? X-Men Legends: Rise of the apocalypse? Exit is quality.

EDIT: Don't misconstrue my first comment. I have a PSP, I just love the DS too.

I must admit I did suggest the DS to him because of the more durable screen and younger audience games, but the sony fanboys must have already had a word with him and he was quite adamant he would like a PSP.

    Thanks for the suggestions guys.

    • Tales of Eternia, Popolocrois or Legend of Heros for RPG's in that order. ToE is superb!
    • Everybody's Golf or SSX on Tour for sports. Personnally I couldn't figure out Tony Hawks :p
    • Lumines or Ultimate Block Party for puzzle games.
    • Burnout Legends, Ridge Racer or Wipeout for driving games. I haven't played NfS yet so can't comment on that.

As for superheroes - X-Men II: RoA is ok but a simple button masher. X-Men: Rise of the Imperfects is a beat 'em up in 3D which just isn't my scene and got half-poor reviews. Haven't had chance to play Spiderman 2 yet. For that age group I'd got with ToE :)

    Burnout legends

    defo wouldn't recommend X-men Legends 2 for a 7year old

everybody's gold would also be a good one - if he's into that sorta thing...

most psp games are abit too dreary for a superhero lovin 7 year old tbh

jak and daxter has just come out according to someone in another post. got all the jack games on the ps2, they're ace, fun for all ages :)

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I got him SpiderMan 2 & Wipeout Pure (cause I loved the original).
His Birthday is the end of this month, but I'm not going back to NZ untill late May so looking forward to vetting for inappropriate content until then.:D
