That'll teach me for buying a lovely house with a loungs that's just a few centimetres too short :)

Anyhow- I'm looking to upgrade my front left and right speakers from my current kef 2005/tannoy arena (space constraints meant I couldn't squeeze in another kef when I wanted to upgrade the centre so I went for the Tannoy centre- sounds alright actually) 6.1 setup, but I have a tinyfootprint that the bookshelfs will have to sit in. Whatever I get can't overlap a 15cm wide by 17cm deep footprint (but can go as high as you like)

    Narrowed it down to these-

Wharfedale Diamond 9 (can't quite get the 9.1s in)
    Canton CD250
    Kef 3001

I figured that these are better matches for the tannoy arena centre than the current kef 2001s anyway!

I'm hoping to get some kind of demo somewhere, but any thoughts or other recommendations are welcome. Please don't be offended by my liking for mixing and matching brand names (at least the left and right speakers will be from the same brand name!)!
