I've done a search for this and can't find anything... so here I go!

Moved into a new flat. its a new build, quite posh, but its got -

    -Wood laminate floors.
    -Wooden blinds.
-Only my rug and my couches are soft things in the room.

Its a rented flat, so I can't pull the installed blinds down and hang curtains, and obviously ripping up the floor is no good.

What can I do to get my low range back and get rid of the reflections? or is it a loosing battle? I run a 5 speaker setup, everything is currently just on spikes - I suspect this might be my first problem?

I'm on a small small budget.

    thanks in advance!!:smashin:

free standing acoustic screens is your answer, but on alimited budget, you will have to make your own

make yourself some absorbing panels that you can move out the room or store while in 'normal' use, simple timber frame with a rockwool panel inside, fabric wrapped, i have a picture of a commercial version but rules mean i cant link to it

Laminate flooring is not gonna help achieve Nirvana. Its easy to keep clean and it looks nice but you will need a nice big rug on the floor.
