Since I first did a Home Cinema Gallery in Jan of 2012 I've added a new Satellite receiver and a week ago today recently moved into a new Flat so thought I should do an updated gallerey.

    LG 42" LCD TV Model # 42LG3000
    Sagem DTR96250T Freeview+ PVR
    Humax Foxsat-HDR 500 Freesat+HD PVR
Humax Foxsat-HD mostly used for FTA at Astra 1 19.2e (Currently awaiting re-homing in one of the bedrooms)
Didgilogic AIO VCR/DVD Player (Used for region 1 DVD's)
SkyBox F3 FTA (Currently not hooked up as not hooked up as there's only 2 feeds currently coming from the dish)
Panasonic DVD Home Theater System Model # SC-XH150 comprising of
    AIO DVD & Amp Model # SA-XH150
    Front Speakers Model # SB-HF270
    Center Speaker Model # SB-HC270
    Surround Speakers Model # SB-HS270
    Subwoofer Model # SB-HW270
Aiwa NSX-S556 Stereo (Brought out of retirement)
Sharp MD-R1MKII Mini Dic Deck (Brought out of retirement)

The livingroom is now a more conventional shape being 20' long and 12' 3" wide. I'll post a few pictures in the coming weeks as the livingroom is in a bit of a state & my kit isn't all set up yet as the Speakers aren't all set up yet as it's been a pretty hectic week.

After nearly 3 years I've finally got round to sorting out the Home Cinema Setup. With 3 additions & 2 removals from the setup.

An Xbox 360 & Nintendo Wii have been added to the setup along with a NowTV Box (none SmartTV Box) & the stereo & Mini Disc Deck have been put back into retirement.

I've done some basic cable management with cable wrap, but some more needs to be done at some point, but I've run out of cable wrap & need to order some more at some point.

A picture of cable management has been added to this post.

    IMG_0402.JPG

I've also added a picture of the front of the unit with all devices. One slight problem of having a wife that likes Candles & Crystal Gems is they end up on the entertainment unit.

I'll add some pictures of the Speakers at a later date as at least 1 needs a touch of extending to the cable to look tidier.

I think the ledge needs more of a pint than a clean, & until I get the rest of the cables wrapped I ain't risking a Vacuum Cleaner round the back of the unit.

Since my last post my LG 42" LCD TV has been replaced by a 49" Blaupunkt Full HD LED Freeview HD Smart TV. The Smart TV Functions aren't the best as Most of the Smart TV functions are locked down by Blaupunkt (most useful UK Services being YouTube & BBC iPlayer), the Freeview HD Streaming Services work though apart from kykNET on channel 247 & JSTV on channel 246, also the Speakers sound like they belong in a Laptop. But for £269.00 in Tesco it works great since I use a NowTV box for Streaming & a Freesat PVR for everything else.

A picture will be posted soon, as haven't had time to tidy up around the Entertainment unit since didn't get it setup until after 9pm last night & been working all day today.

Since my last update the Panasonic DVD Home Theatre System has been replaced with an LG 3D Blu-Ray/DVD Home Cinema System Model # BH4030S. The sound coming from the Speakers that it comes with is way better than from the ones that came with the Panasonic System (Probably due to the fact that unlike the Panasonic Speakers the LG ones have cloth Speaker Grills compared to the metal Speaker Grills on the Panasonic Speakers).

I'll post pictures of the updated setup when I get a chance to tidy up around it.

Here's an updated picture of TV unit with new 49" Blaupunkt TV, LG Blu-Ray Home Cinema System on top left shelf, Humax Foxsat-HDR on top right shelf with NowTV box on top, Xbox 360 with Nintendo Wii to the right on bottom left shelf & Xbox & Wii Controllers on bottom right shelf.

An updated picture of cable management around back will come when I've had chance to Cable wrap last of the cables & tidied up a little.

Finally sorted back of TV unit out & cable wrapped the last of the cables that I could easily do.

The wooden ledge could do with a repaint at some point, but with it being hidden by the TV unit it gets forgotten about.

I'll add pictures of the 4 Satellite Speakers, but the setup is pretty much 100% completed now.

Looking much better now you've upgraded the tv and sound system.

Couple of things, why so many candles? I thought my wife's 3 small candles in the living room was enough! Haha. And that shelf just needs a damp cloth over it that's all!

There's so many Candles as the wife is obsessed with them [emoji849].

I'll have to run a surface wipe & some Kitchen Roll over the shelf tomorrow, after I've changed the NOWTV box over to a Amazon Fire TV Stick.

Since my last update I've added an Amazon Fire TV Stick to the Setup & removed the NOWTV Box from use on a temporary basis (need to get an HDMI Switch), & also decided to connect the TV & NOWTV box to the Internet via Ethernet as I had to borrow the Ethernet connection that was used to connect the XBox 360 to the Internet when I set the Blu-Ray Cinema system up.

Since I needed to get an Ethernet Switch to connect both the Xbox 360 & Blu-Ray system to the Internet I thought that it'd be a good idea to use Ethernet on the remaining 2 devices that can connect to the internet via the internet.

All the Ethernet cables run free from the TV, Blu-Ray system, Xbox 360 & NOWTV box ready for the Ethernet Switch to be delivered

    IMG_0048.JPG

I'll add pictures of the Amazon Fire TV Stick & Ethernet Switch in place once the Ethernet Switch arrives & I finish setting it up.

    The switch I've ordered is a TP-Link TL-SL1005D.
