Wigan v Chelsea first game of the season.
No surprise there then! Top flight big spenders meet div 2 (I don't use the new poxy divisional names) big spenders. See somehow, quite at random, Hoddles going back to meet Southampton! Yeah, right!
And Newcastle have Arsenal - another dismal start to the season for the geordies.
Hull City play Leeds Utd on New Year's Eve...
Hull's first away game is at Sheffield Wednesday, should be a great day out that one.
Did you lot get Huddersfield then John?
Yes, Huddersfield at home first game, really exciting ! The lads I know with season tickets are not renewing next season. We may have a few jolly-boy outings to away matches, go to some grounds we've never been to and have a few beers and a laugh.
One good thing though John, is that you will get to go on a few of the remaining terraces. Ah, to go to an area in a ground where there is some real atmosphere, with no need for US style cheerleaders and stupid (hello Norwich) 'hockey style music' whenever a point , sorry goal, is scored. Are their fans really that inept that they need geeing up when a goal goes in?
On another lighter note, wonder when Utd will offically change their name to 'Manchester devils' 'soccer' club............
They'll probably change it next semester
Bristol City away at Bournemouth second weekend of the season.
That looks like a day trip to me
Typical, we play at Bournemouth in November, so no nice sunny day out there then
Forest are making out that they are doing the fans a big favour by freezing the season ticket prices, I would have expected a big reduction to be honest to reflect the league we are now in.
