It doesn't work that way.

New software delivered over the air only ever applies to the DVB reception software, not the machine software.

Updates are very rare and only ever appear to deal with reception and problem issues that can arise because of broadcast changes.

When broadcast they are only available for a few days... and provided the machine is in it's default condition with respect to OTA Updates, it will be updated automatically anyway.
