My build started today so thought I would upload some photos on how its going.

Have a kef T301 setup being installed along with atmos ceiling speakers.

The new denon 3700 is going to be powering the speakers.

Tv, sky, amp and dvd player are all going to be hooked up to a Cat 6 network.

Cheers

Matt

I'm doing something similar at the moment and struggling on how many hidden cables I'm going to need and where to put the amp, sky etc.

All finished, will get up some photos when painted in about 2 weeks time.

The room is 4.6m by 4.1m.

With regards to hidden cables, everything was run through a brush plate between the tv and amp. The amp/DVD player are stored in the cabinet to the right of the false wall.

All my Cat 6 cables are run directly the cab which is in a cupboard directly above the false wall

Very neat minimalist set up very well done. You'll need a heavy curtain over those doors though.

Looks really good! Very impressed. Question for you - did you build the false wall over existing carpet? Or did you rip some of the existing carpet back? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for sharing this Matt, looks very clean. How did you run the cables to the atmos speakers? I will be doing an install in my new living room when I finally get my hands on my new house in January, and though I have some ideas on how to do it, it would be useful how other people have managed to do it successfully.
