I am considering getting a motorised screen from www.ellie.co.uk which needs to be 16x9 and i am looking at either the 2m or 2.4 wide screens.

Has anyone *recently* received one of these screens as when I phoned up they said they are getting some new types in from italy.

Pictures etc would be usefull if anyone wants to post..

    Thanks

    hi

I have had 3 screens from this company, they have all been excellent, i have had screen ripples but they have changed them over their service is the best in business, and Jim is very knowledgable,

I have the DUet dual masked electric tab tensioned screen, it is the nuts, extremley flat and the electric masking is great and makes a cinematic picture,

The problem petrolhead has had was he was using an LCD projector, they are not very flexible, Ellie did have a problem in the past but that was NOT ellie's fault, it was Italy's fault. They manufactured the wrong size screen, they also cocked up Owls screens and few other other sellers as well, so Ellie was not alone.

Have a look at my site and you can see 2 of the 3 different screens i have had from ellie.

    Good Luck

    Matt:clap:

Matt is indeed correct that it is not Ellies fault but the Italian manufacturer and Jim is very helpfull BUT they admit to being very frustrated but the Italian lack of interest in the problems.

Now I have just received a custom size screen and will report back.

The LCD projector has nothing to do with the problem as it projects an exact 16:9 image. I notice Matt uses a CRT projector which had a lot more adjustment possibilities so he can make up for any screen inacuraccies (spelling)
