Hi guys any suggestions for robust carry case suppliers? Minolta do a nice soft carry case for my new toy, but that will not protect it if it gets dropped.

    Cheers, Mylo :)

Nice feel to it, although the door to the battery’s and memory card feels a bit delicate. The refresh rate on the display is superb when scanning about looking for a target. The zoom is very good indeed. I read the paper destructions last night which have got me started but the main files are only on PDF, which is a pain.
I've not had a chance to take any proper piccys yet, but watch this space.

So far very happy with my purchase which more than makes up for the delay in getting it :smashin:

pixmania :smashin: I was considering leaving them negative feedback but to be fair I had the camera before they had my money :D
It has to be worth a call to minolta to try and blag a case, nothing to loose eh?

It's my own fault really, being so eager to get it I used my work address, should have used my home one instead as it ties in with my debit card.
Did they communicate with you during previous purchases? I never heard a thing from them and only got the confirmation mail after ringing them.

quick trial picture, no flash, using zoom in a dreadfully lit workshop.
Colours look good to me and you can read the part numbering.

I got an email to say the order was confirmed and then another to say it was dispatched, along with the DHL tracking order. I didn't hear anything else from them :)

You’ll have to let me have your address, it seems you can afford a visit by me; I can get good prices on digital cameras at present. Do you have some nice hi-fi as well. :)

That’s what pays my mortgage  it's the inside of a cockpit voice recorder from a Tornado. Lots of coloured wires, components and polished metal.

The site visits to the RAF bases used to be fantastic fun, getting to clamber about inside a £20million pound aircraft. I was like a little boy at Christmas. Don't get many field trips these days though. The company I work for is full of toys. I'm not allowed to take pictures of them though :( .

    The bit in the piccy is 115mm * 115mm * 40mm

    Mylo :)
