im looking at this pc im not sure if thats the best components but heres the spec:

Vista home premium 64 bit
Q9300 2.5 ghz quad core
4 GB ram @ 800mhz
1 GB ati 3870x2
750 Gb hard drive
Creative xfi xtreme music
1000 w psu
that from pcspecialist for just under £1100
 
Pretty decent machine. Quite overkill unless you are going for some serious gaming. What motherboard is in it?

Looks good but you don't need 1KW PSU if you're just fitting one 3870x2. You do if going Dual Crossfire or whatever it's called.

Nothing requires 8GB of RAM, saying that how Vista 64 utilises memory means 4GB is actually 2GB in operation...

750GB seems an odd choice of size for a hard drive, although I don't know how much dropping down would save you.
