    Hi,

I've been speaking (emailing) to the guys at Standesign who are the UK importers for Canton. It seems that there may be a new speaker (CD310F) available at the end of next month. Can't be sure but the code suggests these may be a cutdown 360F or maybe a bigger 310 but flat so it can be wall mounted. So if you are thinking of getting some soon it may be worth waiting to see. Nothing on the Canton website yet.

Also there is the possibility (being discussed) of a Canton price list just for the AV forum users  Mind you unless my understanding of economics is screwed I can't see how they will get close to the German prices. Why is there such a disparity ? Still, if you can get your Cantons in the UK with UK dealer support and can save on transport costs maybe it will be worth spending a little bit more ?

    Ray :)

The 360 depth isn't that much, it's only 4 inches.

I suspect the difference between the CD50 and the CD360F is large and they want to put a option in the middle.

Just got this from Nik at Standesign:

The CD310F is the 300 series version of the CD10 which is from the 100
series. The F stands for 'flat' because if you have ever seen the
    CD300,
you will know that it is quite deep. Therefore the satellite/book shelf
speaker had to be made from the same extrusion as the CD360F. It is
    still bigger than the CD10.

Please stop calling my intended purchases 'low end' . Does nothing for my bragging rights ! Mind you perhaps this classification will help me persuade the wife that perhaps I (we) need the 300s after all
