New Cambridge Audio amp and an older NAD cd player... Decisions Decisions.

Happy new year all.

I have moved from a 20 year old Cambridge Audio amp to their latest CXA60 model. I have a NAD C545BEE CD player and now that I'm presented with a choice of options to connect the CD player to the amp I'm wondering what the best option is. The choices are RAC Optical and Digital Coaxial.. That said, it looks like Cambridge's CXC Transport is on sale so should I flog the NAD and buy that instead.. Help!

I assume you mean the CXA61.

You worry too much. Save your money, keep the CD player and connect it to any of the digi ins. You may even prefer to connect to the analogue ins. Play around, suck it and see, or hear.
