New build spec advice please

This is my first attempt at a build list for my htpc, I will be wanting it to perform mainly as a hd freeview pvr using an old sky dish. I would like to watch and record tv, stream iTunes, and watch movies either from storage or streamed using love film or something.
I have an existing surround sound DVD player that doesn't have a hdmi input so would probably use the analogue audio for this to decode?

This is my build so far

Silverstone Milo ML03B microATX, £47.98
80mm SilverStone Fan Grille and Filter Kit - MUST HAVE ITEM £2.38
80mm Silverstone Suscool81 ULTRA Quiet Thermal Controlled Fan £7.18
300W be quiet! Pure Power L7 BN103 ATX, PSU £33.96
2TB Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda 7200.14 SATA 3 £69.58
Gigabyte GA-F2A75M-HD2, AMD A75, FM2, DDR3, SATA III MATX £53.46
AMD A6 5400K Black Edition CPU £53.41
TBS Dual DVB-S2 High Definition Digital Satellite Tuner PCI Express Card HD (DVB-S2/DVB-S) Receiver £84.99

I will also need 4gb ram and a keyboard

Does this seem massively over specked for my needs? I am trying to make it as future proof as possible but also keep it to a budget of around £300 - which I've blown already with this spec. Seems like a decent dual tuner sat card is costly

Thanks for any help

I've managed to get the price down a bit by using a coolermaster elite 120 with psu combo from ebuyer for £53.38
And a bit more shopping around so now it's :

Coolermaster elite 120 case + psu £53.38
Tbs6981 TV card £80.99 (eBay)
Motherboard GA-f2a175m (scan) £53.46
Processor amd a6 black (scan) £53.41
Hdd 2tb sewage barracuda £69.48
Total £310.82
Or I could drop to 1tb for £294.99

On top of this I will need ram, os and keyboard and maybe an optical drive.

Any advice would be great.
Cheers

I don't use my HTPC as a PVR so have very little to say on that other than you can't use a Sky dish for Freeview, you will need an aerial.

Your motherboard and case are incompatible, the case is miniITX and the mobo is microATX.

You haven't specified any memory, you will need at least 4GB DDR3 RAM.

What OS are you planning to go with? Windows 7 is about £45 - £65 depending where you buy it, I get my Windows licenses from the US.

Thanks for the reply, perhaps I should have said freesat, I believe I can get this via the sky dish. Thanks for pointing out the motherboard issue... I'll look for a mini atx. I was planning on windows 7. I think 64 bit. Is best. So that 4 gab of ram can be used.

Is it me being blind or are mini itx fm2 boards really few and far between?
So far I've only found the asrock fm2a75m-itx for £68.68. There really doesn't seem much else about. Perhaps I should review my case choice.

I would chose the PSU carefully. If it's bundled with a case and at that price it's probably going to be loud. Also, if the case is thin it'll probably leak sound from the CPU fan, HDD and PSU.

When I built my HTPC I picked components which were known to be quiet, i.e. HD5450 passive GPU, Samsung F4 HDD, Freezer Pro heatsink and a Nexus NX-5000 PSU. Plus thermally controlled case fans on rubber mounts all around and some quality rubber feet.

My HTPC case has 6 Samsung F4s and it makes less noise than an STB I've every had. Makes less noise than my laptop.

Keeping things quiet should be your main concern, you don't want the quiet moments in a movie ruined by loud fans :)

Its not you, there are very few FM2 miniITX boards around. I believe Gigabyte are releasing one sometime during March.

So after a bit more looking and pondering I have come up with this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-F2A85-M-LE-Motherboard-Windows/dp/B009LYGDAW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_computers_1
Motherboard Asus F2A85-M LE £55.46

http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=84
Case from eBay £72

Processor
http://www.ebuyer.com/398817-amd-a6...-socket-fm2-4mb-l2-cache-retail-ad540kokhjbox
Amd a6 black £46.51 ebuyer
Hard drive
http://www.ebuyer.com/394549-wd-2tb...ium=products&gclid=CIHut9enh7cCFSXLtAod_2AANQ
2tb wd green £74.44
Ram
2x2gb
http://www.ebuyer.com/239263-kingston-2gb-ddr3-1600mhz-hyperx-blu-memory-khx1600c9ad3b1-2g
2x £14.99

Tuner
TBS Dual DVB-S2 High Definition Digital Satellite Tuner PCI Express Card HD
Amzon £83.90
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Definition-Digital-Satellite-Express-Receiver/dp/B0038LU03K

This comes to £361. I was hoping to get it down a bit more. I should be getting a free copy of windows 7 to run on this. Does anyone have any views on this? The I'm a bit lost on the motherboard choices out there and have gone for the a6 to give a bit more processing power for any future needs. Is 4gb enough ram? I guess I could always update.
Thanks for all the comments
