Ive just built a new pc

Samsung SpinPoint HD501LJ 500GB SATAII Hard Drive 16MB Cache
Sapphire HD 2600 Pro 512MB DDR2 Dual DVI TVO PCI-E Graphics Card
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium x32Bit OEM 1PK DVD
KeySonic 2.4Ghz Wireless Compact Keyboard with Integrated TouchPad
Antec Black Fusion V2 MATX MediaCenter Case - Aluminium Front Bezel with 430W PSU
Kingston ValueRAM 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 667MHz/PC2-5300 ECC CL5 Unbuffered
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz 1333FSB Socket 775 4MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
ASRock ConRoe1333-DVI/H i945G Socket 775 onboard VGA 8 channel audio mATX
Pioneer BDC-202 Blu-Ray Reader 12X DVD±RWDL/RAM SATA Black - OEM

I seem to have everything working ok apart from the sound. Do i need to get a sound card to connect to an amp (denon 1906)? or jack plug to phono cables?
Ive only had my laptop connected to it before, this connects via the spdif socket to the optical input on the amp.

From this view it doesn't look like its got SPDIF out. You will have to connect it via the jack to phono cables. I dunno how the quality of the onboard sound is because the card will be doing the decoding not your denon.

Morning coombes123,

I have just tried to build a media centre much like yours and specifically with these two products I have highlighted in red. I couldn't for love nor money fit that drive in the case. I had the facia off the drive and also the flap bellow the screen on the case off but to no avail. Any help you can give me before I either have to send the case back or the drive will be much appreciated.
