    Hello!

I have the 32" version of that TV in the bedrrom. The only thing I'd say is that the TV has great motion tracking but I find the backlight is un eaven around the edges and on one part near the bottom right hard corner covering about an eighth of the screen. It's unnoticable when there's a bright, colorful picture on the screen, but it's a little noticable when there's a dark scene in whatever you're watching. Other than that, great TV, great tuner (picks up more freeview channels than my Panasonic 42" plasma downstairs which is only a year old!) and not bad connectivity.

As for the Blu-ray player if you plan on using the PS3 as a dedicated Blu-Ray player it's a bit of an expensive bit of kit. I bought a Sony BDP-S350 for £129 from Laskys before Christmas (on a special offer, they're about £165 now if you shop around) for the above bedroomed 32" Toshiba. I compared it to my PS3 that I use downstairs for games and blu-rays on the Panasonic plasma and I must admit, I did not notice a significant performance increase. DVDs look great upscaled too. There was less picture noise and grain on the image than the PS3, but to be honest it was hardly noticable. I don't have an amp capable of Hi Def audio so I can't comment on the audio performance really compared to the PS3. I didn't notice any difference, possibly due to using the same cables (Van Den Hul HDMI Flat for the picture and QED Optical cable for the audio).
If you plan on using your PS3 for games too then get the PS3, but if you plan on using it just for Blu-ray Buy the Sony BDP-S350 and use the difference to buy a decent HDMI lead.

    Hope the above helps!

    Adrian
