    Hi Chaps,

    Two years in the making........
There are new Audiophile 2496 drivers from the M-Audio site.
The good news, all is fine including stereo, DD, & DTS with no issues as far as i can see, good news also is these drivers support ASIO so the K-mangler can be by-passed, now i'm getting 96khz to my TAG (finally) via Winamp 2.9 with ASIO plug-in.
I was considering dumping the Audiophile for an RME, but these new drivers have won the Audiophile a temporary reprieve
I don't think i'll ever buy another M-Audio product again because of the dire software support.
    Cheers.
    Tim.

I've just built a machine with the Audiophile 2496.

It suggests that XP should automatically sort out the drivers, but that didn't happen. From the web link above, I can download a driver, but I'm not sure it's the right one. Should I download the Delta Audiophile 2496? Where I bought the card, and the manual, make no reference to 'Delta', and having tried that driver, the control panel isn't as shown in the manual.

    Thanks

Thems be the correct drivers, the control panel will be different to the one in the manual as its a more up to date version

Cool, thanks. I was put off by the fact that there are some Delta products available, but the one I bought says nothing of Delta. I've not got anything to plug it all into yet, but I wanted the software on.
