Good morning folks, newby to this forum and I am hoping to pick your collective brains.

I am looking for a new amplifer for my kitchen (2nd system but main stereo system). I have the oppotunity to buy a used Yamaha a-S500 for £105 or a used rotel Rotel RB-970BX+RC970BX for £180. My only issue with the Rotel is that it doesnt have a phono stage (I have never has a turntable i the kitchen but quite fancy the option). It will be running a pair of Mordaunt Short MS5.30 speakers (which i am not sure of the specs).

Also, the Yamaha has a single mono? sub pre-out, would this connect to the Low Level In (red+white) on the rear of my Mission 70ASE sub or would i need to use the speaker inputs?

Any advice would be greatly received?

    Thanks in advance.
