    Hie people,

I am considering buying some K15s for a 5.1 setup together with a Velodyne sub probably the CHT-R8). My interest is movies/music 70/30% and my lounge is about 16 by 10 foot.

I need your views on a decent amp for about £500 bearing in mind that I like my soul and dance music and could u also opinionate on my choice of sub.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nashb,

The K15's are nice little speakers but they are also very demanding on amps as they are 4ohm speakers and therefore require alot of power to sound there best.
I would say that you would need to look at something like the Denon 2805 / Yamaha 1500 as the Minimum spec amp atleast or else you will not get the best sound out of them.
