    Malaga,

The Aconda in the US is different to the one that's available in Europe.

While the US version accepts progressive signals through it's component input, the European version will only accept progressive RGB through it's VGA input, which rules out the use of a progressive dvd player. A scaler or HTPC is always an option, but for most home theatres built around a tv, this is often inpractical.

    Bob.

you talk about to 9381zw or new 9381zw hd (or HD/DR+) ????

perhaps the new series aconda hd already brings entrance of components for pal progressive.

it would be logical ¿or no? :nono:

    thanks:hiya:

    Hi Malaga,

The Aconda I'm refering to is the 9381, the version which has been available for a few years now.

I'm not sure if the new Aconda's will feature progressive capable component inputs. The only info. I've read so far is that they will feature an inbuilt hard disk recorder, but I do think that it's doubtful that they will feature a progressive input (other than the optional vga input).

    Cheers.

I talk about to be able to enjoy a progressive reproducer dvd.

that panasonic pd30 is progressive pal and ntcs, but they give a little fear the commentaries me on her.

exists somebody that enjoys this television without no problem?

    Hi

Its my understanding that the Loewe can accept component input via a component to scart leead, don't believe its progressive though. Have you been able to find out any information on the upgrade Loewe are applying to the aconda/articos? I believe it includes the Hard Drive but is that all?

according to loewe Spain, the models with HD/DR+ will appear at the beginning of the 2004.

aconda HD/DR+ 9381zw will cost 2990 euros.
