The sexy looking HT-400 case is now available from QuietPC and I've just ordered one. It fits a full size ATX board and PSU. Not bad for £175 + VAT.

Yeh.... I saw the review when it was posted. I made sure that the logos were correctly positioned before I ordered it! As for the DVD rom, I'm still undecided on which one - I'll probably go for a dual layer once there have been a few reviews on them.

    Hi wyerd,

    Did it arrive?

Thinking of splashing out on one of these myself ...

    Cheers,

Yes it did. I'm building it at the moment. The only problem is that the VFD unit appears to be missing - I'll be taking that up with QuietPC today.

Hi wyerd, that was going to be my first questions, as the QuietPC website implies the VFD is an optional extra, although with that package (and cost) I'd expect the VFD to be included ...

Was the remote was still bundled?

    (BTW, greetings from Waterlooville)

I'm about to cry they sent me a HT100S instead of a HT400.....I'll wait to see how good their customer service is but based on most web companies I'll bet they're rubbish at sorting their mistakes.

It's really annoying cause I had a really bad day and cheered right up when I saw the case in the hallway..but it all went downhill when I saw stickers on the HT100 and silver checkboxes!

The VFD is optional, I didn't bother as I'm hoping someone will work out how to fit a Matrix Orbital in..I'll buy their one later if all else fails.

I had an email response from QuietPC within about 15 mins of sending off a query, so will be interesting to see how they sort this for you.

    Wooahh pleasantly surprised!

They replied to the wrong e-mail address so I didn't find out what was happening until I got home.

But the new case has already been dispatched arriving tomorrow and they had arranged to pick up the wrong case (although I'll have to drop it off at the UPS depot as I won't be around)

Great service but when your paying well over £100 for a empty PC case you should get good service!!
